TechnoExplorers is
a distributor of TECHNOKids
computer lessons. TECHNOKids
publishes computer lesson plans based on a project-based approach to
integrate Microsoft Office technology skills into learning for
kids in grades
K-12. The computer curriculum is divided into five categories:
Primary,
Junior,
Intermediate, Senior, Camp. Adult learners use the
Teacher/Adult courseware.
Teachers enjoy using the courseware because
its lessons cover introduction to computers to advanced
users. Especially written for kids in grades K-12, these
computer lessons comprise a set of projects designed to integrate a
range of Information and Communication Technology skills into
student learning including: word processing, programming,
graphics, spreadsheets, desktop publishing, applied technology,
telecommunications, databases, operating systems, and
multimedia.
Our computer lesson plans are best suited for a Windows-based system. All projects use
Microsoft Office applications with the exception of five primary
projects that use Kid Pix Deluxe 3.
Get the
right computer lessons!
Computer kids learn differently from adults. They role-play and problem solve. Most teachers know that children learn more when involved in role-playing and problem solving.
Students become more attentive because TECHNOKids
computer lessons keep their focus. Computer
kids become interested in the characters, the plot and the process. Learning improves and class management becomes
easier and K-12 teachers can appreciate that. That's what it's all about!
Our computer lesson plans have
been tested and proven by real teachers and kids in the
classroom. These lessons, whether introductory or
advanced are not one or two pages with tons of links that lead
nowhere. These computer lessons include a teacher resource
folder containing handouts, flashcards, assessments,
certificates, and letters to parents. With over 75
projects containing thousands of pages of computer lesson plans,
if TECHNOKids
does not have what you're looking for, no one does.
Student workbooks are provided
In most cases, teacher guides give step-by-step, easy to follow
instructions with ample screenshots and illustrations. Children learn about the computer, how it operates, and in the case of TECHNOKids
curriculum,
learn about Microsoft Office Suite and the IBM-PC.
